STATE OF MTNL / BSNL MOBILE SERVICES

State of MTNL / BSNL mobile services

MTNL / BSNL used to be undisputed king of mobile services. People were so much confident that they will be able get signal even at the Mount Everest. It is really true majority customers including those who have deserted the service will agree.

Now the scene has reversed. Call dropping, noisy conversation, extremely poor signal quality, not able to call / receive calls from certain locations while the signal strength of other service providers is really good. We are made to pay for these hopeless services. Every call drop is charged.

We are frustrated to the extent that even committed customers are in a mood to say goodbye to MTNL/BSNL.

  1. What has gone wrong?
  2. How come the huge team of administrators, engineers, technicians and supporting staff are watching this happen with COMFORT?
  3. IS THERE SOMETHING TO READ BETWEEN THE LINES?
  4. Why can’t MTNL / BSNL come out openly and say “We won’t provide the service come what may but keep enjoying fat salaries and all the perks (direct / indirect)?
  5. Is the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology not aware of these tortures their faithful customers are going through?
  6. Why are we taken for a ride despite nation spending the precious Tax Payer’s money?

Finally if no immediate visible remedial measures are taken, GOI must wind up these services. We aren’t ready to carry the burden of such incompetent man power at the cost of the nation. Funds becoming surplus may be diverted for developing other infrastructural facilities with a hope that other facilities won’t meet the same fate?
