DO WE REALLY NEED DEGREE?

This view point is on the issue of performing & discharging duties by the persons despite having fake degrees.

Is it that they are extra ordinary genius or quality of education or the challenge to run the nation isn’t there at all?

If a person can perform without the requisite qualification then why should one go to school or University? It involves both time & money. Is it the reason that most speak about everything but nation?

This probably is the reason for the mess we are in. Country needs a grass root level brain storming for re-visiting education system and the reasons for the failure of the present system. Country will continue to be a FOLLOWER nation if this issue is not taken up immediately.

Prof Sunil Pandey is a Welding Fabrication and Manufacturing Scientist & Consultant. He is currently a Professor of Mechanical Engineering in the School of Engineering, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). It takes care of the student after class-X and one can then go up to the PhD level of education. Age is no bar. He takes pride in having introduced the most transparent & honest administrative system in the country. His unfulfilled desire is to create a combination of true World Class University and an extremely profitable business. The name of the University or the Institute should be the symbol of quality and the benchmark for all other institutions including IITs.
